Buenos Aires Subte Official Diagram

2025 to present — City of Buenos Aires

Design of the new official diagram of the Buenos Aires Subte (Metro/Subway). The priority of the redesign was to simplify information, improve legibility and accessibility, clarify connections, and make better use of space in the piece. The project focused on communicating the metro network in the simplest and fastest way possible: the relative location of stations, its transfers and services, without errors or confusion, adapted to the wide range of commuters with different physical and intellectual abilities. Developed for Ciudad Legible (the team that designs the integral communication and information system for transportation and commuting in Buenos Aires).

Diseño del nuevo diagrama oficial del Subte de Buenos Aires. La prioridad del rediseño estuvo en simplificar información, mejorar su legibilidad y accesibilidad, clarificar conexiones y aprovechar mejor los espacios en la pieza. El foco estuvo en comunicar la red de Subtes de la forma más simple y rápida posible: la ubicación relativa, combinaciones y servicios de sus estaciones sin errores ni confusiones, adaptada a la multiplicidad de personas con distintas capacidades físicas e intelectuales que van a utilizarla. Desarrollado para Ciudad Legible (el equipo de diseño del sistema de comunicación e información integral para transporte y movilidad de Buenos Aires).
