Buenos Aires Transport Pictograms

Diseño de pictogramas para el sistema gráfico de Ciudad Legible (el equipo de diseño del sistema de comunicación e información integral para transporte y movilidad de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires). Estos se utilizan en los mapas de la ciudad y simbolizan los distintos tipos de transporte público en la ciudad, sus paradas, estaciones, tipos de accesos, puntos de interés, accesibilidad y servicios. Fueron diseñados a partir de la tipografía Univers para convivir gráficamente en una multiplicidad de usos, y aparecen en colectivos, paradas, estaciones de Subte, Metrobus y Ecobici. Los pictogramas de Taxis y Plaza son un pequeño homenaje al 'Plan Visual de Buenos Aires' por González Ruiz y Shakespear.

Design of a set of pictograms for the Ciudad Legible graphic system (the team that designs the integral communication and information system for transportation and commuting in the city of Buenos Aires). These are used on city maps and symbolize the different types of public transport in the city, their stops, stations, types of access, points of interest, accessibility and services. They were designed based on the Univers typeface to coexist graphically in a variety of pieces and contexts, and appear in buses, bus stops, Metro, BRT and bike sharing stations. The Taxis and Parks pictograms are a small tribute to the 'Visual Plan for Buenos Aires' by González Ruiz and Shakespear.
